When Explorer left Honduras, she left everything behind. In the middle of the night, she didn’t have the chance to ask where she was going, but she’s never afraid, her father is always there taking care of her. This Honduran family travelled to Mexico looking for a safe place. A place where their two daughters could grow and their lives weren’t on the line. This is a brief chapter of this family’s journey to protect their daughters’ lives and their innocence.

“La Academia was a musical reality show created in Mexico by TV producer Giorgio Aresu, it was launched as a joint production by Television Azteca and Nostromo Producciones. This TV program seeks to prepare professional singers, where the students, selected after having passed a casting stage, show their talent through weekly concerts every Sunday; the audience votes for their favorite student for him/her not be the one with the least punctuation and abandon the reality show, the audience votes via telephone calls and/or text messages and decides on the winner.
